cvs coupon acceptance changes 09/2022

cvs registers are reportedly being updated to reject manufacturer coupons with "outdated barcode style" these coupons will not have an employee override option system updates will take place 08/31/22-09/23/22

valid coupons that are not applicable to item(s) purchased will apparently be rejected but not require employee assistance
they may be overridden if employee verifies that the purchase should qualify
